STAYING INVOLVED

The "ILS Experience" does not end at seminar! We are very proud to have an active network of alumni who promote youth leadership all year round. Why have an alumni association? The Illinois Leadership Seminar atracts some of the best student leaders all over the state! We want to give those students an avenue in which they can network with all types of leaders not only from Illinois, but also with other students affiliated with NSYL (National Society for Youth Leadership).

Our alumni association stays active in many ways. Other than monthly meetings, they host reunions, fund-raisers, community service activites, etc. The alumni also plan iLeads (Illinois Leadership Enhancement And Development). An iLead is basically a one-day, condensed version of our three-day seminar.Through iLeads, our leaders can reach out to students from their own area who might not have had the opportunity to attend ILS.
