HOW CAN A STUDENT ATTEND SEMINAR?
Guidance counselors and principals select students from all over Illinois who have demonstrated leadership ability and talent. Nominated students participate in this three-day, high-energy seminar consisting of workshops and activities designed to elicit:
- individual self-discovery
- awareness of differences in others
- an understanding of how to lead through challenging social issues

At this time, we are no longer accepting student nominations from counselors as our deadline has passed and we have reached our capacity. If you would like to be considered for this year's seminar, please email Austin Walker, our Recruitment Director, at ils.registry@gmail.com and you will be put on an alternate list. If a spot opens up, we will allow you to nominate on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to be considered for next year's seminar, you can email us with your contact information and we will put you on the email list for the 2013 Illinois Leadership Seminar. Students who have already been nominated for our seminar can register before the March 24th deadline below
REGISTRATION PROCESS (STUDENT INFO)
After the nomination deadline has passed, an e-mail will be sent to the student with information on how to register for the flagship seminar. Registration must be completed by the student (and his/her family).
